Work Description

  • Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of field instrumentation at both in-house and customer sites.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including Relative Accuracy Audit Reports, QAL2-CVT, QAL3 AST, Job Sheets, Site Performance Test Reports, and other service, maintenance, repair, and calibration documentation.
  • Develop calibration procedures, operating manuals, and standard operating procedures for all company-provided services.
  • Generate monthly service, maintenance, and calibration reports for performance monitoring equipment and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
  • Ensure the smooth execution and timely completion of all awarded projects.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance project efficiency and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in field instrumentation installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance

Work Description

  • Performing electrical wiring, junction box, distribution board, and panel wiring, troubleshooting sensors and calibration
  • Performing soldering, gas cutting, and welding work.
  • Prepare job sheet, service maintenance, and calibration report.
  • To assist and make all necessary planning, coordination, and arrangement which will involve the following scope: –
    • Assist in the order, delivery, installation, and commissioning of all related equipment, instruments, and products in the client’s premises.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members and customers as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems are functioning properly and to identify potential issues.

Job Description

  • Drive and operate the audiometric testing truck to various job sites as scheduled.
  • Conduct audiometric tests on employees to measure hearing acuity and detect potential hearing loss
  • Maintain the testing truck in clean and orderly condition, both inside and outside.
  • Set up and calibrate audiometric testing equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer specifications.
  • Assist in the collection of samples for air, water, soil, and other environmental media to assess potential health hazards.

Qualification & Skills

Work Description

    • Assist Environmental Consultant for the preparation and execution of environmental studies and monitoring, including liaison with both clients and governmental agencies for the preparation and/ or conduct of:
      • Environmental Audit Report (EA)
      • Term of Reference of EIA (TOR)
      • environmental Scoping Information (ESI)
      • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
      • Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
      • Environmental Monitoring Report (EMR)
      • Scheduled Waste Management & Services
      • Industrial Effluent Monitoring Report (IEMR)

    As required by the Department of Environment (DOE), the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak, and the Sabah Environmental Protection Department.

    • Responsible for participating in environmental audits and performing as audit assistant or audit team member for third-party environmental audits in addition to carrying out those duties stated clearly under the audit guidance documents issued by DOE & NREB
    • Responsible for handling and liaising with both clients and laboratories on wastewater, river water, flue, and ambient gas sampling and analysis from accredited laboratories.

Requirements

Main duty & responsibility

  • To carry out sample handling (pre-treatment & preparation) competently for chemical and microbiological analysis.
  • To ensure that all performed handling activities are comply to the ISO/IEC 17025, SAMM Policy, laboratory’s system and requirement.

Specific duty & responsibility

  • To perform basic laboratory test as per validated test methods or procedures.
  • To assisting Chemist/Microbiologist in carrying out laboratory testing, method development and compliance with laboratory’s requirement.
  • To ensure Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in the laboratory.
  • To ensure the laboratory equipment are utilized and maintained as per work instructions.
  • To make sure all raw data to be correctly recorded in the raw data sheet or log book.
  • To comply with all safety, health and environment local regulation (Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act 1974).
  • To report any hazard/risk, near-miss and incident to the Chemist.
  • To perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education SPM, STPM or College Diploma
  • 1-3 years’ laboratory experience in related activities is an added advantage
