Safe Handling of Chemicals & PPE Training Program
Objective
The objective of this training program is to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the safe handling of chemicals in the workplace, in compliance with Malaysia OSHA 2022, USECHH 2000, and other relevant regulations. This training aims to ensure that participants can effectively identify chemical hazards, implement safety measures, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly to prevent chemical-related incidents and injuries.
Learning outcome
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the regulatory requirements related to chemical safety in Malaysia.
- Identify chemical hazards and assess associated risks
- Implement safe handling procedures for various types of chemicals.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for handling chemicals.
- Develop and follow safe work practices for chemical handling
- Respond effectively to chemical spills and emergencies
