Objective

The objective of this training is to provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge and skills in managing scheduled waste in compliance with Malaysia’s Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974. This program aims to ensure that participants understand the legal requirements, best practices, and procedures for effective and safe scheduled waste management.

Learning outcome

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the definition and classification of scheduled waste.
  2. Comprehend the regulatory requirements and standards related to scheduled waste management under Malaysia EQA 1974.
  3. Identify the roles and responsibilities of individuals involved in scheduled waste management.
  4. Implement appropriate waste management practices, including storage transportation, treatment, and disposal.
  5. Develop and follow scheduled waste management plans and procedures.
  6. Conduct scheduled waste audits and reporting
  7. Apply best practices for reducing and recycling scheduled waste
  8. Respond to emergencies and understand contingency plans for scheduled waste incidents.
